Visualizing the Entire Plan

Storyboard Scene 1: In this scene, a medium shot is used when the actor is waking up out of his bed after having a strange dream. The location for the sht will be at one of our group mates houses. This shot is used because it shows the entire area that the actor is in and allows us to get the point across to the viewer. We chose to do this for this scene because it brings what the lyrics in the song are into a video format.  Scene 2: During this scene, a close up shot of a girl shows to represent the girl that the actor in the previous scene had a strange dream about. The location for it will be a park to film the parts where it shows the girl that the actor is dreaming about. We chose to do this for this scene so that the reader can understand the person that the main actor is talking about. Planning the Big Show

Planning Blog  Props:  In our music video we will use props to show meanings of the song to the viewer. The meaning of the song is a romantic relationship so we will use flowers, messages, and hearts to represent that. We will also use boats and cars to display meaning that certain lyrics in the song have to get that point across.  Costume:   In our commercial, our costumes will resemble ones that were used in other pop music videos. This will include trendy new fashion along with some old retro design to link back with our song. Accessories such as watches, rings, necklaces will all be used during our commercial to link back to the historical parts of the song and catch the viewers attention. Research  My partner and I decided to choose the song “Break my Stride” by Matthew Wilder as our song choice. Usually in music videos with a similar genre to my song, they all show people moving about doing things such as: dancing, jumping, and singing. Music is used in other music videos to demonstrate the audio for the viewer. In this case it is an upbeat sound. There is not exactly a dress code in the music video but most people are wearing clothes from the 80s.   Genre of the music we chose The genre of the music that our song is part of is pop music This genre of music is known for having a good rhythm, a melody that is catchy, as well as the songs are usually easy to remember and easy to sing along to. The Start of a New Beginning

Today in class I was assigned to film a music video with a group. I was happy to hear this because I love listening to music. I had no idea what song I was going to use for it or who I was going to work with. After deciding to not continue working with the same people I did last time because I wanted to work with someone new. I went and looked for someone new to work with. After I asked a few people I found someone that was wanting to work with me. I felt that working with someone new could give me a new perspective on how other people work and could give me tips on what can be done with this project. It would also let me bond with someone else and be able to make a new friend. After we decided that we would work together, we then started to figure out what song we wanted to do our music video two.  Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I go to school at Fort Lauderdale High. I am a junior in high school and I am 16 years old. Over the years I have been able due to my achievements been able to be part of programs in different aspects of my life. One aspect is the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise. I was born in Fort Lauderdale and have spent all of my life here and I find it a great place to live. Having access to so many different activities allow me to have many things to do with my friends. Things such as going on jet ski's, boats, water skiing and more are things that I could not do in many other places. Some things that I do with friends that do not involve water are playing soccer, going for drives, or meeting at places like the mall or concerts. When I am not able to be with my friends
