Let's Get Going


 Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I go to school at Fort Lauderdale High. I am a junior in high school and I am 16 years old. Over the years I have been able due to my achievements been able to be part of programs in different aspects of my life. One aspect is the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise. I was born in Fort Lauderdale and have spent all of my life here and I find it a great place to live. Having access to so many different activities allow me to have many things to do with my friends. Things such as going on jet ski's, boats, water skiing and more are things that I could not do in many other places. Some things that I do with friends that do not involve water are playing soccer, going for drives, or meeting at places like the mall or concerts. When I am not able to be with my friends I like to is go for drives, watch shows on Netflix or YouTube, or go workout. Somethings that I like to do in my free time is travel. I have travelled all over the country and internationally to many places with close family and friends. During these times I've met new people that are my friends and have made tons of memories with my family. Some memories that I have made with friends is going to Jingle Ball and other concerts. I make sure to put forward my best effort in activities that I do to get the best out of life. I have one dog that I have had for many years and his name is Bengie. Bengie has gone with me to many places and have been there for many big aspects of my life. He has such a huge meaning to me and I am so glad he's my dog. For my life after finishing my education, I want to be in finance for my career. Finance is a massive aspect of everyone's life and I find the topic intriguing. Knowing it is something that is such a huge aspect and that it is not taught in schools has made me do research about it and I have found that I like it a lot.

Our Oddball Day to Filming

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Which gave us just enough time to start filming at one of the locations. I thougth we would have time and then it would start raining and it would all be okay. But, as we headed to the filming location it started to rain super badly. But, because of where I live you can usually wait 15 minutes and it will go away. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically.
