On Thursday September 30th, my group and I went out to begin the filming for our commercial. One of our group members was not able to make it today so we had to adapt out filming and swap out one of our group members in one scene for another. We had to then make sure everyone in the group knew what we were doing since we had one less person. After assigning new positions, we had to make sure it confirmed what we had on our storyboard. We had to get outside quickly to the senior patio to film so we could film all of our scenes in time before lunch started and we were not able to film any longer. Once we made it to the senior patio, we began to get into our positions and I was the main actor in all of the scenes. Slide 1: In this slide we are going to shoot our introduction where we show the actor opening his phone and going to play a song on his AirPods Pro. He is going to pull out his phone, unlock it, and then proceed to go to a music app to begin to play a song. The type of shot in this slide is going to be a POV shot. This is to express to the viewer the same thing the actor is seeing. Slide 2: During this slide, the main actor is beginning to walk straight forward showing off the AirPods Pro in his ears. This is to show how the AirPods are comfortable to wear and stay in your ears. The type of shot that is going to be during this scene is going to be a medium shot to show off the actor walking. Props: Since our group decided to use the Airpods Pro the props that we will be using will be an iPhone and the Airpods Pro themselves. Costumes: In our commercial, we have one main character, and 2 side subjects. Our actors will wear normal/trendy clothes, they would wear items that they would wear everyday to simulate like it was just a normal day for them. The main actor will have an iPhone in hand, and an AirPod in each ear so to show them off to the viewer.  Schedule:   On 9/22/21 our group researched conventions and the background of AirPods Pro commercials. Research:  My group is doing our commercial on AirPod Pros. Typically in apple commercials there is one main character using the specific apple product. Music is used in almost every apple advertisement and comes from the Apple Music app (usually upbeat incidental music). There is no specific dress code, the actors wear trendy or just their normal style clothing. Apple commercials use most of the same types of cuts. Jump cuts along with upbeat music are used to create an exciting mood and get the audience pumped up. Apple commercials also use most of the same shots Tracking shots are used and follow the main actor to show the actio they can do with the product. For example: jumping, dancing. Close up shots are used either when the actor puts the AirPods in his ears or takes them out. Today I was assigned with the task of trying to find a group to work with for my latest project. I was excited about the project because it was a 30 second commercial on an item of my choice. When I was first told that I was able to select my group I had no idea who I wanted to work with. I did not really think about who I would want to work with because I was taking notes making sure I can make my commercial the best it can be. Then when I was given some time to go decide which group I wanted to work in and I was still struggling to find someone because I did not know who would and who would not complete their part of the project. After talking to some of the people in class and some of my friends, I decided to choose some people that I felt are hard workers and that can get their part of the project done. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I go to school at Fort Lauderdale High. I am a junior in high school and I am 16 years old. Over the years I have been able due to my achievements been able to be part of programs in different aspects of my life. One aspect is the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise. I was born in Fort Lauderdale and have spent all of my life here and I find it a great place to live. Having access to so many different activities allow me to have many things to do with my friends. Things such as going on jet ski's, boats, water skiing and more are things that I could not do in many other places.
