Finishing My First Project

Today was the last day I was working on my commercial. Today we finished up all editing touches and made sure our commercial was ready to submit. My group and I did run into some issues today that took us some time to resolve. My group and I finally found a song that we thought was a good choice for the commercial so we added it into our editing. A new issues that arose today when we were editing is that on the final copy of the video the editing program we used added a watermark to the top right corner of the video. We could not find a way to remove this water mark without paying $3.99 for a premium subscription. We did not know what to do because we already edited all of the commercial and we just needed to export it. So, what we ended up doing is that we found a way to get the watermark removed with a 3 day free trial of this apps premium subscription. After we exported it and sent it to all of the group mates, we made sure that we all liked it. Once we agreed on that we decided it was time to then cancel that free trial of that apps subscription. After that, on my laptop I went to export it to the right file so I was able to send it to my group mates so they could upload it correctly. That was the next issue I ran into. My laptop was having issues exporting the video and failed to do it multiple times. This was because I wanted to export the video at 4K and 60 frames per second. I then restarted my laptop after the third time and attempted to export it again. It still did not work when I did that so I thought of changing the quality of video when exporting it. I changed it to 4K at 30 frames per second which made the process of exporting it successful. After that issue was solved we then move on to talk about how we think we did and spoke about the project overall. I spoke about how I thought my group did a good job working in a time effective manner to get it done. I then spoke about each persons strong suits and how that could benefit us for the next project we do.

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise.
