Starting to Wrap up the Film

Today my group and I focused on beginning to edit our commercial.My role was to transfer all of the videos from the multiple devices we used all onto one device for the person who was using the computer to edit. After I got the videos sent to the person who was editing, I talked with them to review what he is going to do for the slides and transitions. While he was editing the slides, I spoke up and told him things that I thought we could have improved on. Whenever I had an opinion and felt that something needed to be changed, we then spoke about what was the best option to go for that specific edit. We spent most of the day doing this because we wanted it to best that we felt it could be. Then, my group and I got together to discuss the music that we were going to add because we felt that we needed to link it to what we were doing in the commercial. We decided to link the music to what was going on in the scenes of the film. Then, I went back to watching my group partner who was the editor do his editing and then I kept making comments about things that I felt could have been done differently. I then decided to go check on my other group partner to see what he was doing and see if he needed any help with what he was doing. He, assured me that he had everything under control so I then went to the group partner that I have not talked with yet. I talked with her about what she is doing and she said that she didn't need any help either so I just went back to my spot and made sure that everything was running smoothly with the editing. After that I just sat with my group partner that was editing and we both reviewed the film and decided that it would be best to have the other group members come together to check the progress of the film and have them give their opinion on what should be done. When we came back as a group, we all discussed the film so far and decided that it was up to our standards and that the person who was editing should just finish what they were doing and we all find something that would be able to help him with his editing. So, I went back and tried to find some new music because the person who was looking for music was having a hard time finding songs. After spending some time finding some songs, we were eventually able to find one that we found to be a good fit for the video. We then shared the song with the group and which part we would be using. The other group members found the song a good fit as well so we decided to use it for the commercial. After that my group members and I got together to wrap everything up for the day and get ready for the next day of editing. I mentioned how we could manage out time better because we need to review this multiple times before we submit it after we finish editing.

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Which gave us just enough time to start filming at one of the locations. I thougth we would have time and then it would start raining and it would all be okay. But, as we headed to the filming location it started to rain super badly. But, because of where I live you can usually wait 15 minutes and it will go away. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise.
