The Finished Product


 This concludes the commercial that I filmed with my group. I had a great time doing this project and I felt that I did a good job on it. Some of the things that I thought was a strong suit that I brought to the group was being able to adapt and quickly think of new things when we had to change things last second. I enjoyed all of the aspects of this project because of the people I was working with. They brought a lot of key ideas to the table and made the process of the entire thing smooth. I really liked doing all aspects of the commercial. The storyboard allowed us to all bring our vision to paper, the filming made us become closer friends, and editing made us laugh at what we did during filming. Some things that I found I needed to improve on was my acting skills. I felt that they could be better if I showed more emotion to the viewer instead of not showing any which may not make a connection to the reader. In the end, I would consider doing this again with the same people because it overall gave me a new perspective of the friends I was hanging around and made me feel better about some of the choices I have made.

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Which gave us just enough time to start filming at one of the locations. I thougth we would have time and then it would start raining and it would all be okay. But, as we headed to the filming location it started to rain super badly. But, because of where I live you can usually wait 15 minutes and it will go away. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise.
