All of the Clips

On the first day of editing we accomplished a lot.My partner and I talked for a bit and discussed what type of edits we wanted to make on top of what we did for the storyboard. We then started editing by just putting all of our videos in order into our editing software. I did have some issues doing this as my phone was not transferring documents to my laptop. I had to overcome this issue by transferring the videos and audio over one by one for each clip to be able to get it onto my laptop. After we put all of the videos into the editing software, we noticed how long all of the videos combined are. I had to then clip out part of each clip to get the timing down to the correct time for the video. After I did that, I then watched what it was at the time to see what needed to have adjustments done to it. I then wrote down all of those adjustments and brought it up to my partner. I then told him to watch it and see any corrections that needed to be made.After we both had our lists, we compared them and made a new list of things that definitely needed to be addressed and things that were a maybe. I then went back to the computer and made the adjustments that we definitely thought needed to be addressed.I then watched the video again and made another list of items that needed to be done. After that I then showed my partner what needed to be done again and gave him the list I made to get his thoughts on it. After that he agreed that my list should probably be done and it is ready to go after those adjustments have been made. After those adjustments were made we then decided to take a small break and shared our video with a peer of ours to see what they have thought. They gave us some good advice and some of it I decided to integrate into our editing and others I did not because I did not see it fitting the design of our video. Once I implemented their ideas, I noticed that one of the clips was one of the wrong clips we wanted to use for the music video so I had to go back and readjust that clip to be the correct one for filming.After that we decided that was enough for editing on day one of editing and to save the other half of editing for our next of editing.  So far we have edited about half of the music video and we felt we have done a good job so far with incorporating the genre of music that our song is with the editing style we have chosen for our music video.

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Which gave us just enough time to start filming at one of the locations. I thougth we would have time and then it would start raining and it would all be okay. But, as we headed to the filming location it started to rain super badly. But, because of where I live you can usually wait 15 minutes and it will go away. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise. A little bit about my backstory is that I was born in Fort Lauderdale and have spent all of my life here. I find it a great place to live and enjoy the things that it allows me to do.
