Getting Ready to Reveal the Final Product

Today was our last day of editing our music video. So far on day one I edited half of the music video and wrote down things that I felt needed to be done the next day of editing. After my partner arrived I then went and opened my laptop and brought up the editing software to resume where I have left off on day one. We then decided to create another list that we felt for the rest of the video because everyone in the group felt that the more we make notes and the more we saw the original files the more we knew those were right choices to make. After doing that I then went to go make the edits we had on the list. After that everyone in the group was hungry so we all left to have lunch. This took a lot of the editing time we had so we had to eat quickly to make it back to have enough time to edit. Once we made it back, we then continued to make small adjustments to our editing. I wanted to include specific types of editing in our video that I did not know how to do. So, I had to look up and watch some videos on how to do it. Those videos helped me understand how to do it better so I felt it made sense to scrape that idea and find a different one. So, I decided to just solve that by using a black screen at the end instead of fading it black. Then after solving that issue, I then ran into the issue that my computer was getting too hot and it caused my editing software to become slow and unresponsive. I then had to just save the current file I had at that time and then just leave my computer to rest for a bit and come back to it. After my computer had cooled down, I then went and completed the edits that we had discussed on our notes beforehand. After completing those I edits I then saved the video and watched it over three times and made notes each time on it. After I noticed some of the small edits needed, I then had my partner watch the final product and make notes himself on it. He found some issues that I had missed and then we discussed some of the issues together we both saw. After that we made those edits and watched it three more final times to complete the video. We then noticed it was ready to go and we saved the clip and sent it to both of our phones so that we had it ready to submit.

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Which gave us just enough time to start filming at one of the locations. I thougth we would have time and then it would start raining and it would all be okay. But, as we headed to the filming location it started to rain super badly. But, because of where I live you can usually wait 15 minutes and it will go away. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise.
