Pitch A: Friends go for a drive, one of their cars breaks down, and one of them takes the opportunity to convince the other about electric cars.  I would be interested in pitch A for many reasons. One reason that I would be interested in it is that I like cars a lot so it would be something I would be able to understand the topic easily. I would also be able to bring different approaches to it with many different perspectives from the multiple people that would be in it. I would also be able to show how the future will be because climate change has shown how we will need to have electric vehicles for the future. Showing this to the viewer could give them some useful information about climate change and what it has done. I could also show this from many points of view where someone could show it from an economic perspective as well as showing it as a social way where it is more ethical to do this and more. Today I had to choose if I was going to work with others or by myself for my final filming project of the year. I originally felt it would be best to work in a group with people I knew were productive and I knew they would do their part to help out. I also felt that the more people that work on it, the much better the project could be. I felt that it would be a better product if I was going to work with others who can all give their input towards the project. So, I went around and asked a few people I knew I could trust and I was glad to work with. Some people that I asked said yes and some people said that the group they had was already full. After that, I told one of the groups that I will work with them but if I find another group that said yes then I would work with them. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise. A little bit about my backstory is that I was born in Fort Lauderdale and have spent all of my life here. I find it a great place to live and enjoy the things that it allows me to do.
