Title Website Research

Today's task was to see what the title of my film would be called. I have had many thoughts on what I feel it should be called this far but nothing so far has stuck out to me and made me feel that it must be called that. I need to quickly find a title so I am able to show my work to others with a name that they can call it by when the time comes. A title I feel can set the entire mood for a movie. If the movie has a good title it can attract more people to watch it. When my teacher said to me that I needed to work on finding a title this week I got excited because I really wanted to have a good name for a while. I feel that a title can make someone looking for something to watch get connected to a show or movie and be more likely to watch it. I was so excited when he said we could do this but I did not know where to start. I kept trying to find some different ideas by looking at the items that I would be using when filming or I would be able to use to help me come up with a title. I was still clueless on where to start so I decided to do some research on how others come up with ways to name movies and the majority of the information that I found said to start thinking of an action that is taking place or the main topic of the movie. I found a couple of websites that I felt would be a good help because I would be able to look at other movies with the same genre as mine. One of those websites was www.artofthetitle.com. I felt it was a good website because I talked to some others because they had a good experience with it being able to see clips of movies. Those people I trust know that if they say it is good then it should be good enough for me to use. I feel this website will be good to use to find out a title and I am excited to be able to use it to figure out the title for my film. Another website that I found was www.watchthetitles.com. I found this website from a friend as well and found it was great to use to help with my goal to find a title. These websites made me even more excited about getting this project going. I felt great knowing I was accomplishing something and getting this film being closer to the end and ready to show off to people. These websites I am glad I found because I feel they will drastically help with the work I am trying to do. I know by the end of this I will have a great title but I do not know when I will get that title.

Our Oddball Day to Filming

Today was the first day that I planned to film. It started off according to plan where I met the people that I would be filming with at their house to pick them up and get ready to film. We then headed back to my house to gather all of the supplies needed for the film. I then checked the weather forcast and saw that it was supposed to rain in two hours. Which gave us just enough time to start filming at one of the locations. I thougth we would have time and then it would start raining and it would all be okay. But, as we headed to the filming location it started to rain super badly. But, because of where I live you can usually wait 15 minutes and it will go away. Hi there, my name is Aaron Shaffer and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am 16 years old and in my third year of high school. Over the years, through the opportunities I have been able to receive, I have been able to achieve a lot academically. One of those achievements was being able to be a part of the Cambridge program at Fort Lauderdale High School which has allowed me to take multiple college level classes that are allowing me to receive credits, scholarships, and more that I would not have been able to receive otherwise.
