Moving Along With it All

Today my group finished up the filming we began previously.   Today I had to act throughout all the scenes we had remaining from our previous day.   I grabbed all the props form my car and brought them out to the park where we filmed the rest of our scenes that day.   I noticed while taking the props to the filming location I noticed that it broke while in transportation.   I then had to assemble it and put it back together.   I then took all the props and set them in a location I thought would be a good spot to keep them safe for a short time.   I then had to scout out the area to see where the best location for filming would be.   I found a clear spot with good lighting for filming.   I noticed it did not have issues with other people making it a crowded place or too loud to film as we had previously.     Today made the best conditions that we could have had for our filming set between the location, weather, and our surroundings. ...

The reveal

 Finally, I am ready to reveal the finished product. I feel that this is a great representation of my work and ability to produce a short film. But, as always there were things that I could have improved on. However, I feel that this is not the worst thing as this is the second-ever project like this I have ever done. I can see where my skills have improved since the first time I tried this earlier this year. Compared to previous times I took more load of the work on myself and it gave a true grasp of what my strengths are and what are my weaknesses. This will allow me to improve any production I produce in the future. Some parts that I thought were great are how we were able to take the storyboard blog into reality with our filming and the shots that we used in it. This time I noticed how I would be getting nervous while filming and that would come across onto the film to the end viewer. Planning the Big Show

Planning Blog  Props:  In our music video we will use props to show meanings of the song to the viewer. The meaning of the song is a romantic relationship so we will use flowers, messages, and hearts to represent that. We will also use boats and cars to display meaning that certain lyrics in the song have to get that point across.  Costume:   In our commercial, our costumes will resemble ones that were used in other pop music videos. This will include trendy new fashion along with some old retro design to link back with our song. Accessories such as watches, rings, necklaces will all be used during our commercial to link back to the historical parts of the song and catch the viewers attention.
